Remove

In week 1 you will learn about the removal stage of the 5 R Protocol. Why we remove unhelpful foods, inflammatory triggers, infection & pathogens and common allergens and food intolerances so we can begin the healing process.

Replace

In week 2 you will learn all about how we digest food. The role of digestive enzymes and stomach acid and how we can support their production to optimise how we absorb nutrients.

Repopulate

In week 3 you will learn about your gut bacteria. How probiotics can help recolonise your gut and the benefits they provide. We will also look at probiotic foods and sources of prebiotic fibre.

Repair

In week 4 we will look at foods that heal, the nutrients that are needed to support gut healing, reduce inflammation, and support the immune system. We also look at supplements that can support this process.

Rebalance

In week 5 we will look at rebalancing health, the role of stress in gut health, how we can support vagal tone, sleep and achieve homeostasis. We will also discuss how to reintroduce foods we eliminated in week 1.

Reflect

In week 6 we will be reflecting on the progress you've made over the previous weeks. We will discuss how to maintain this going forward and give recommendations for supportive supplements in the long and short term.

About us


Nourishing Insights is a family business run by Mother and Daughter team Beverley Sarstedt and Harriette Robinson. Beverley is a registered Nutritional Therapist and Harriette is an Infant Reflux Specialist. Together they are passionate about educating and empowering others to take charge of their health. Having both struggled with gut health over the years they are keen to share their knowledge so you don't have to suffer the same way.
